Misumi USA Will Pay for Canadian Duties
and Brokerage Fees Under Enhanced CCC Program

MISUMI offers the Canadian Customer Care (CCC) Program intended to save Canadian customers on customs duties and brokerage fees associated with US to Canada shipments. This cost savings effort is a result of customer feedback stating that although the product pricing was competitive the duties and brokerage fees were becoming a financial burden to many MISUMI USA, Inc. customers.
Additional savings come in the form of simplifying the administration overhead for the customer. Previously the customer would receive an invoice from MISUMI for shipping and a separate invoice from the shipping carrier for the customs, duties and tax charges. However, with the CCC Program customers will receive one invoice from MISUMI encompassing all of these charges.
To participate in the CCC Program; customers are required to specify "ship prepay and add" when ordering.
In Summary:
- No Cost to the Customer: MISUMI will pay the Canadian Customs Duties and Brokerage Fees.
- How to take advantage of this offer: The customer must specify "Ship prepay and add" for their shipments via UPS ground, next day or second day air. Please note that this offer does not apply when the customer ships collect or third party bill.
- Please note: MISUMI will bear the costs of customs duties and brokerage fees. Tax and freight charges will continue to be invoiced.
- Effective date: This program will take effect for all orders shipping to Canada placed on or after August 24, 2009.
