<\/strong>Yes, all ball bearings are retained on MISUMI linear guides. For THK linear guides, part numbers starting with SHS\/SSR\/SRS\/SHW are retained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is the seal material of MISUMI miniature linear guides?
<\/strong>Nitrile Rubber (NBR).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is the W1 tolerance for MISUMI linear guides?
<\/strong>This tolerance is \u00b10.005 mm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is the width dimension tolerance of MISUMI blocks and rails?<\/strong>
<\/strong><\/em>Dimension tolerance of block width (W) is \u00b10.05mm, and that of rail width is \u00b10.005mm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Can blocks be added or changed?
<\/strong>Blocks can be added or replaced only with Interchangeable Linear Guides. By doing this, precision standard of interchangeable linear guides remains the same. This is why interchangeable guides are sold as a set with option to purchase rails and blocks separately. All other types of linear guides are sold as a set only, and precision standard is only guaranteed for original\/purchased set.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Can the clips attached to the rail when shipped, be used as a stopper for a block?<\/strong>
No, clips are used to prevent blocks from falling off during shipping and storage and are not be used as stoppers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Is it possible to use your linear guides on the wall or ceiling?<\/strong>
Yes, MISUMI, THK, Bosch Rexroth, Thomson, Schneeberger and most of other linear guides have the same load rating at any mounting position because they have the ball line structure which can support the same load in any orientation.\u00a0 Please check load moments when you use linear guides on the wall or ceiling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What other brands of linear guides does MISUMI carry?
<\/strong>MISUMI now carries THK<\/a>, Bosch Rexroth<\/a>, IKO<\/a>, Thomson<\/a>, and Schneeberger<\/a> in a variety of sizes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What grease do you use as a standard?
<\/strong>For the miniature type, we use Multemp Grease PS2 from KYODO YUSHI CO., LTD.
<\/strong>For medium and heavy load type, we use Shell Alvania Grease No.2 from Showa Shell Sekiyu K.K.

SRS (size 5-15) and SHW (size 12-17): AFF<\/a>
SHS SSR HSR SR (size 15-65), SHW (size 21-50), HRW (size 17-50) and SRS (size 20-25): AFB-LF<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Is the calculation of life span difficult?<\/strong>

Is it possible to get my linear guide cut-to-length?<\/strong>
Yes, our new rail-cutting service allows for rail length increments of 1 mm of THK and Bosch Rexroth linear guides with a 2 day lead time. Visit our dedicated page here<\/a>.
