Wear appropriate personnel protective equipment (coat, goggles and gloves).  Consult the operating instructions on how to disassemble &amp; reassemble the removable parts of your balance. But as a general rule, the balance should be cleaned immediately after each use or every time the weighing substance is changed. Do not allow any substance to enter the balance\u2019s internal parts &amp; do not spray or pour liquids on the balance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2><strong>6 \u2013 Clean the Removable Parts<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Use a damp cloth or tissue and clean with a mild cleaning agent. If the parts are <a href=\"https:\/\/us.misumi-ec.com\/blog\/thread-galling-issues-with-stainless-steel-fasteners\/\">stainless steel<\/a>, simply place them in the dishwasher or autoclave if required for the application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2><strong>7 \u2013 Reassemble the Balance<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Make sure the parts are correctly positioned, switch the balance on and check that it is working correctly.
