But what about when your application requires much more resilience due to extreme conditions?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here\u2019s what to consider when selecting a bearing to be used in harsh environments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>Corrosion and Contaminants<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/us.misumi-ec.com\/vona2\/mech\/M0800000000\/M0802000000\/\" title=\"\">Bearings<\/a> are able to spin smoothly due to using round balls or rollers that have a small area of contact with the inner and outer rings, which greatly reduces friction.
