The \u201cM\u201d in M12 stands for &#8220;metric,&#8221; while the \u201c12\u201d refers to the 12 mm threading diameter. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These connectors work by joining a male and female connector with the corresponding coding configuration, making them easy to install and replace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Let&#8217;s go over some common types of coding and their common applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>A-Coding<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A-Coding is used for signal transfer and low-power AC\/DC applications.
