MISUMI had the honor of attending the Rockford Area SOLIDWORKS Users Group (RASUG) meeting this week on November 13th. We were able to talk to local SOLIDWORKS users and get a better understanding of what SolidWorks means to them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At MISUMI our mission is to provide innovative original products that fulfill our customers\u2019 needs for high quality, low prices and short delivery times. After speaking with the user group, it was clear that this aligned with what they look for in a manufacturer and supplier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After networking with the group, I had the opportunity to present on what MISUMI has to offer and our new SOLIDWORKS tool, Rapid Design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the highlights of the MISUMI portion of the presentation was our configurability. MISUMI manufactures and supplies over 80 Sextillion innovative and high-quality part configurations for mechanical automation, press die, plastic mold and electrical applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The best part? We make it easy! Configuring your MISUMI components to your exact specifications is easy with our 3D CAD downloads and free engineering support. It was great to see the RASUG take a great interest into MISUMI\u2019s configurability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The next portion of the presentation was all about Rapid Design. The value in Rapid Design is the ability to help engineers design MISUMI components directly into their CAD platform. The free software works to streamline the entire engineering design cycle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With Rapid Design, designers can save up to 30% design time. That\u2019s valuable time saved by eliminating the hassle of navigating back and forth from web browser and CAD platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After discussing system requirements and MISUMI Rapid Design support, I conducted a Rapid Design demo. It was great to see the RASUG engagement during the demo. We had a lively question and answer portion of the demo to discuss MIUSMI component configuration directly into SOLIDWORKS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Overall, it we had a great time at the RASUG meeting and enjoyed talking to SOLIDWORKS users who can benefit from MISUMI and Rapid Design. I\u2019d like to thank the group for having us. Until next time!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
