MISUMI INTRODUCES NEW LINE OF ONE-WAY CLUTCHES                                     

Compact yet rugged, MISUMI One-Way Clutches feature ball bearings on both ends
to provide support for radial loads, while preventing reverse rotation.

February 10, 2011 (Schaumburg, IL) ― MISUMIUSA, Inc., a subsidiary of MISUMI Corporation, part of MISUMI Group, Inc. (Tokyo:9962) and a leading provider of fixed and configurable mechanical components for machine building and factory automation systems, will introduce an all-new line of One-Way Clutches at the ATX West Show, to be held at the Anaheim Convention Center, Anaheim, CA in February 2011.

Designed to operate on the end of a shaft, the new One-Way Clutch bearings feature ball bearings at both ends of the clutch to provide support for radial loads. The clutch allows free spinning in one direction, while locking in the other direction to prevent reverse rotation.  Compact and lightweight, MISUMI's One-Way Clutches are easy to install and their ball bearing design provides smooth, frictionless operation.

One-Way Clutches are commonly used in the assembly of products, machinery and other motor-driven devices across a host of industries, including: agricultural, automotive, consumer, gearbox, general industrial, medical device, office equipment, printing and packaging.    

Designated as MISUMI Product BHFL, the One-Way Clutches are available in 11 different sizes ranging from 10mm D/15mmL to 42mmD/30mmL.  Allowable torque ranges from 1.76Nm to 121Nm.  Selection will depend on each user's application requirements. Shipping time is three (3) days.
