MISUMI REDUCES SHIPPING TIME - NOW 70 PERCENT OF FACTORY
AUTOMATION PRODUCTS WILL SHIP IN 4 DAYS OR LESS

Shorter lead time for more than 100,000 configurable components allows machine and
automation system OEMs to build products faster and more efficiently.

November 9, 2011 (Schaumburg, IL) ― MISUMI USA, Inc., a subsidiary of MISUMI Corporation, part of MISUMI Group, Inc. (Tokyo: 9962), has announced that, effective immediately, the company will offer reduced shipping times for many of its machined-to-order products to just four (4) days. Previous ship time for many configurable components had been six (6) days.

MISUMI's goal is to provide the best possible service for its customers. This overall reduction in order shipment times will provide machine builders with greater clarity and shorter lead times, enabling them to better plan their machine building and factory automation projects and bring them to market faster.

The new shipping times will affect over 100,000 of the company's configurable components. In addition, MISUMI currently offers more than 30,000 in-stock parts with same day shipping. As a result, approximately 70 percent of the company's Factory Automation products will now be available to ship in just four (4) days or less. In addition, the MISUMI website has been upgraded so that users can search for both reduced lead time and stock items.
