(Tokyo: 9962), has announced the expansion of its line of Simplified Slide Rails, adding new products and sizes to existing product types. The Simplified Slide Rails are suitable for use in a host of non-precision positioning functions ‒ for example, platform-mounted inspection and detection devices, parts feeding devices, and linear guides used to transfer items from one process area to the next ‒ and they can be used effectively in both manual or automated linear motion operations. 

All of MISUMI's Simplified Slide Rails are engineered and constructed for smooth operation and reliable performance.  Compared with conventional high-precision positioning products, they are more compact and lighter in weight. Product offerings include standard and specialized product versions, optional features and configurable lengths, with selection depending on each user's application needs relative to load rating, length, construction material, and other requirements.  Most of the Simplified Slide Rails ship within (4 to 6) four to six days.

MISUMI's expanded line of linear motion products include:

·         NEW! Stainless Steel Simplified Slide Rails with Ball Bearing, Standard and Optional Locking Version (Load Rating: 380 to 460N/pc.) ‒ Features 304 Stainless Steel slides, rails and optional lock. Available with or without stoppers. Rail only also available.

·         Aluminum Simplified Slide Rails with Ball Bearing (Load Rating: 79N/pc.) ‒ Features aluminum alloy slides and rails with hard clear anodized finish. Available with or without stopper.  Rail only also available.

·         Aluminum Simplified Slide Rails with Ball Bearing, Standard and Optional Locking Version (Load Rating: 49-99N/pc.) ‒ Features aluminum alloy block type slides and rails with hard clear anodized finish.  Compact design allows multiple blocks and rails to be installed, as needed.

·         Steel Simplified Slide Rails with Ball Rollers (Load Rating: 68-147N/pc.) ‒ Features 1045 Carbon Steel block type slides and rails with iron oxide black film surface finish. Ball roller is 440C Stainless Steel.  Available in Standard and Wide types. Rail only also available. Compact design allows multiple blocks and rails to be installed, as needed.

·         Aluminum Simplified Slide Rails, Oil Free (Load Rating: 28-110N/pc.) ‒ Features aluminum alloy rail and slide made of polyacetal resin, C3604 brass or steel for easy, maintenance-free operation. Available in tapped hole type and counterbored type, with or without stopper.
