  • Workpiece is bonded in the box by UV curing.

    A technique for curing adhesives or inks by using ultraviolet light.

  • In order to hold the UV emitting LED at a distance and duration required for curing, spring and a stopper is used for positioning.

    • Formula: Reaction force F = kx

    • Assumed deflection in lever operation: x = 27.5mm (set length: 48mm, free length: 50mm), When stroked 25.5mm)
    • Spring constant: k = 16.5 / 2 / 27.5 = 0.3 N/mm is selected.

Other Design Consideration
