Selection steps

■Selection Method of Single Axis Actuator

1. Select the Nominal Number (No.) of actuator from stroke and actuator's rated values.

2. Determine the ball screw lead so as to make the operating speed less than the maximum speed (provisional selection).

3. Examine the load applied to the rail, and calculate the equivalent load. Obtain the average load from this value, and calculate the life.

4. Examine the load applied to ball screw and support bearing. Obtain the average load, and calculate the life.

  • Remove thin plates using suction pads from the feeding equipment one by one and transfer them to the table by using a Single Axis Actuator.
  • By shortening the transfer stroke by changing the removal height and transfer height, a space saving design and shortened takt time are realized.
