IDEA NOTE Setup by means of shift lever groove

The route is specified so that the two-dimensional code reader does not contact other parts of the workpiece. A guide groove is set up to ensure that the reader can be manually operated to the desired position.

Purpose

  • The worker operates the arm attached to a two dimensional code reader. The reader inspects for the presence of four position chips.
  • Positioning is accomplished by means of the guide groove on the X-Y stage and the stopper.

Points for use

  • A shift-lever type guide groove is used to set up the position of the two-dimensional code reader.
  • Positioning accuracy is improved by tapered cup plunger (tapered cup is mounted on top of the ball knob).
