· Mirror with parallel running surfaces in chrome film, or dielectric multilayer coating, divides light radiated at 45° into reflected light and transmitted light.
· Generally known as the half-mirror type.
· Using this element, permeated and reflective light intensity is 1:1, the incoming beam polarization is circular. · Non-polarized light and 45° linearly polarized light only.
· This is the P-polarized light and S=polarized light parts refection rate (or permeation rate) due to a differential.
