FAQ

What is Push Screw feed type?
It is a feed mechanism utilizing an adjustment screw.
The screw pushes against an opposing spring to move the stage which is effective in suppressing backlash, but has relatively low load capacity.
What is Feed Screw feed type?
It is a feed type that uses correlation between male and female threads.
MISUMI feed screw stages are stages with a Fine Feed of 0.5-3.0mm travel per rotation. Allowable load is bigger than with Push Screw Type stages, so is the backlash.
Do Simplified Stages have clamps?
All stages come with clamps. However, please note that the Push Screw Types (XKNG, XYKNG, etc.) requires CL Alteration for Opposed Clamp Bolts.
What mechanism is used for stage clamping?
There are two basic types of clamps.
・ The Push Screw and the Clamp "sandwich" the stage to clamp. (Push Screw Stages and Opposed Clamp)
・ Feed screw shaft is directly clamped with a set screw. (Feed Screw Stages)
Each product page has drawings showing the clamp details.
