Through our exclusive University Discount and Sponsorship Programs, we are looking to equip the innovators of tomorrow with the resources they need to push boundaries and bring their ideas to life while getting their engineering degrees.
Discount Program
Is a program for university students and faculty in the U.S. or Canada that provides an exclusive 30% DISCOUNT. The discount applies to all stock products and configurable components ordered from the MISUMI USA website using a credit card—making it easier to access the components you need to bring your engineering projects to life.
How Do I Apply For The Discount Program?
- Be a student or faculty member of a university in the U.S. or Canada.
- Create a corporate account on the MISUMI USA website using your university email address.
- Complete application form below.
Discount Start and End Date:
- Once approved, the discount is usually applied to your account in about 2 weeks. You will receive an email once the discount has been applied to your account.
- Your 30% DISCOUNT will expire on July 31st of the next year. You can reapply for the discount program each year.
Sponsorship Program
Is a sponsorship program awarded each semester to a select group of university students, faculty, and student organizations in the U.S. and Canada. Selected recipients can receive up to $500 of in stock products and configurable components from the MISUMI USA website, giving you the tools to power your innovative engineering projects.
How Do I Apply to Get My Project Sponsored?- Be a student or faculty member of a university in the U.S. or Canada.
- Create a corporate account on the MISUMI USA website using your university email address.
- Complete the application form below to be considered for sponsorship.

- 1st Semester application must be completed by September 30th.
- 2nd Semester application must be completed by January 31st.
Approval Period:- Applicants will be notified of sponsorship approval within 2 weeks after deadline.

Discount Program FAQ
Current university student or faculty in the United States and Canada. All accounts, applications, and communication must be done through your university email address. We will not approve any applications from other email address domains.
The corporate account allows for the flexibility of multiples users within your club, team, or student body to take advantage of the discount and all that MISUMI has to offer.
The discount is usually applied to your account within 2 weeks of approval. You will receive an email notification once it has been added to your account.
No coupon code is needed to receive the 30% discount. The 30% discount will automatically apply to all qualified items at checkout.
The 30% discount will expire on July 31st of next year. You can reapply for the discount program each year.
Any users registered under your account will receive the discount at checkout.
All orders must be placed using a Credit Card to receive the discount.
The discount does not apply to Fictiv or custom-made components.
