Lead Screw Application Examples
■App. Example 1 In-feed Adjuster

Unit consists of: Lead Screw Support Unit, Support Unit Ready Screw, Position Indicator.
Machine Purpose
In-feed of various material into transfer line, locating stopper, and guide.
Relatively small stroke range required, impacts in thrust direction. Lead screw is selected for low cost requirement.
Selection Details

- Lead Screw
- Keyed screw ready for support units is selected.
The screw is supported on both ends with support units.

- Support Units for Lead Screws
- Support Unit for Lead Screw is selected for the fixed side.
Preloaded dual radial bearings can withstand radial and axial loads.

- Support Units for Lead Screws
- Support Unit for Lead Screw is selected for the simple side. Integrated radial bearing makes for quick installation.

- Lead Screw Nut
- A standard round flanged lead screw nut is selected.

- Nut Bracket
- Dedicated nut bracket for lead screws is selected.
