  1. Q1Can I change the shipping method once I've placed an order?


    Yes. Up until the morning of the date that it ships, you can call or email Customer Service to change your shipping method.

  2. Q2If I place an order on the Website, can I view the tracking number once it's been shipped?


    Yes. The day after it's scheduled to ship you can log onto the Web Ordering System and click on Quote/Order History. Once you've found your order, you can click on 'Show Details' and the tracking number will be under the part number.

  3. Q3When can you ship the products?


    Refer to the PDF catalog page for each product in our on-line catalog, or each product page of our printed catalog, and look for a section with the Truck icon. If you are looking at a catalog with US$ pricing, the shipping date from Chicago is the number of days shown in the catalog after your PO number is received. If you are looking at a catalog with Japanese Yen pricing, then the shipping date from Chicago is the number of days shown in the catalog plus 3 days after your PO number is received. Days are defined as work days, not including the order date. If you already have an SO confirmation, look for the date shown below each item.

  4. Q4Do you stock items?


    Yes. We have many stock items, and if you order on the website before 7 p.m. Eastern Time, we can ship out the same day.

  5. Q5Where are your products shipped from?


    From our warehouse in Elk Grove Village, Illinois (Zip code 60007).

  6. Q6How long does it take to deliver from your warehouse to our location?


    It depends on which shipping method you choose. For UPS transit time, go to the UPS home page, and follow the link to Transit Time. You will be able to find delivery dates and times for your location.

  7. Q7What shipping method will be used to deliver my order?


    The default shipping method is UPS Ground. Specify when ordering if you prefer another method.

  8. Q8Can I expedite the shipment?


    If you need to expedite production, you can specify Express Service at the time of order. The availability of Express Service varies by product.

  9. Q9How can I get a tracking number for my shipment?


    Click on My Quote/Order History and click on Search. Once you've found the order, click on Show Details. The shipping link will be next to the part number.

  10. Q10How much is the shipping charge?


    If you quote on the MISUMI Web Ordering System, we will provide you with freight charges. If you ship that method when you order, you will pay those freight charges. Any other questons about freight charges do need to be directed to your freight carrier; UPS or Fedex.

  11. Q11How should I file a quality claim?
